In 2000, Valeri Larko was commissioned by New Jersey Transit and the New Jersey State Council on The Arts, to paint four murals for the Secaucus Transfer Station's North Mezzanine. Open to public in the fall of 2003, the Secaucus Transfer Station, is the largest train station in the state and ties together all of the train lines in the north half of New Jersey.

Valeri's murals depict four railroad bridges with historically appropriate trains from four corners of the north half of New Jersey. "Jersey City" and "Brielle" measure 5'5" by 27'6" and run along the top half of the east and west walls. "Delaware Water Gap" and "West Trenton" measure 5'5" by 6'8" and hang between windows on the south wall. All of the murals were painted with oils on stretched linen.
