What attracted me to this site were the colorful trucks against the snow and the reflections cast in the puddle as the snow melted.  Winter is a wonderful time to find new things to paint when all of the trees are bare and scenes that might be obscured by foliage are easy to spot.  Like so many places that I’ve painted, this scrap yard has been removed since I created this street scene.
